Nicholas Minney is a former elite gymnast, national level judge, head coach and owner of the National Artistic Sports Academy, Inc.
Nicholas holds first place titles at the state, regional, and national level in the sport of trampoline & tumbling and has been coaching trampoline & tumbling, cheerleading, and gymnastics for the better part of five years. He trained primarily at Flip Force in Greensboro NC, but also worked with National team coaches at the Karolyi Camp in Texas and clinics across the country.
Before opening the National Artistic Sports Academy, Nicholas was the head coach for the competition team at All N2 Air Gymnastics, where he specialized in helping athletes with mental blocks, spotting complex skills, and developing drills and lesson plans to help athletes achieve their full potential.
Nicholas is identified by USA Gymnastics as a competitive gymnastics Junior Olympic Development Coach, a safety certified and first aid trained instructor, and a Professional Member of USAG.
“Coach Nick” can be found following his passion—that is, coaching his athletes—almost every day at his gym, the National Artistic Sports Academy. There he says that it is his mission to teach gymnasts and athletes of every age and level the great sport of gymnastics and to share with them the love of Jesus Christ. Stacey McLean is the head coach for the girl’s gymnastics program at the National Artistic Sports Academy, Inc.
Stacey McLean studied at CVCC, Liberty University, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in coaching from Lynchburg College. In addition to being a personal trainer and gymnastics coach at NASA, Stacey has also worked at the YMCA, Club Body Co., and she was the head coach for the girl’s gymnastics program at All N2 Air Gymnastics.
Holding over 6 years of experience in coaching gymnastics and 10 years as a gymnast herself, Stacey specializes in perfecting details in gymnastics routines on beam, vault, uneven bars, and the floor exercise.
Stacey adds fun to every workout and encourages her athletes to become the best that they can be. It is her goal to share the love of God with her athletes by helping them realize their full potential in athletics.
He began his gymnastics career in England. Growing up and competing in the UK has given him the opportunity to learn and coach with a unique perspective on an international stage. While there, Coach Zach quickly rose to the highest levels where he managed secured Two National Titles before moving to the United States.
Coach Zach graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2012 and has since applied his unique set of skills in PT and elite gymnastics to invest in the growth of his athletes both physically through competitions and also mentally through mentoring.
Coach Zach is a NASA trampoline team coach, USA Gymnastics certified competition team coach, and a USAG professional member with a current background check, first aid, CPR, & AED certifications and close to three years coaching experience.
Jourdann is a positive coach who believes in teaching her athletes that with some hard work, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Jourdann teaches gymnastics and tumbling through a progression of drills, exercises, and strength training that builds for the athletes a solid foundation on which they can learn more complex skills.
Jourdann has recently transitioned into become the office manager for NASA Gymnastics.
After qualifying for the level 9 regional championships, she transitioned over to trampoline and tumbling, finishing 2nd at the national championships.
Jessica has a passion for the sport of gymnastics, carrying 5 years of coaching under her belt and loves any opportunity to invest in children/teens of all ages. From pre-k to college age, Jessica has coached multiple levels of cheerleading and gymnastics, encouraging and pushing athletes to believe in themselves beyond what they think they are capable of.
