Preschool Gymnastics Classes (Ages 3-4)
Preschool gymnasts meet for a 45 minute class once a week. This co-ed class focuses on basic skills while implementing lots of fun games and exercises tailored to their needs.
Our young athletes have a blast getting out some of their energy while, at the same time, learning important developmental skills such as waiting in line, working as a team, and following directions. With obstacle courses, parachute games, and trampoline time, this class is a whirlwind of fun!
Beginning Gymnastics Classes
Our level one class curriculum is designed for the introductory level athlete.
We define success in this class as finding new friends, learning new skills, and discovering
the joy of physical fitness and gymnastics.
Athletes in this class here learn all of the fundamentals of gymnastics – from rolling to jumping and from handstands to cartwheels. Our goal is to help the athlete develop perfection in basic skills and body positions while learning to love gymnastics and fitness.
Intermediate Gymnastics is the next step for our talented young gymnasts. This class is for our gymnasts who have learned the FUNdamentals of level one gymnastics and are now ready for the next, exciting step in their journey. This includes learning back handsprings and how to use their body shapes to build harder skills.
Athletes in this class will advance their skills on Balance Beam, Uneven Bars, Vaulting Exercises, and Spring Floor Exercise.
Girl’s Competition Team
NASA Girls Gymnastics Team is a positive, fun, and encouraging Christ-like atmosphere. Team practices year round and compete from November through May including NASA’s in House Mock Meet & respective State Championships. We believe in establishing a safe and loving atmosphere in which each athlete knows she is valued. Our philosophy is not just to build an artistic physical discipline, but also to cultivate character, confidence and self-worth through personal accomplishments, teamwork and work ethic.
